Baseline solution

For the training range, FalCom Pods Pro and FalCom Pods Pro High function as standalone headsets, delivering up to 80 hours of active hearing protection from a single AAA battery.

Dedicated PTT solution

FalCom Pods Pro paired with a dedicated Boom Microphone Downlead connects directly to a FalCom Push or Dual Push and a single or dual net tactical radio — no control unit, no configuration, no delays. Plug in and operate.

For the operator with a single radio communication need

This system is the most simplistic solution for a dual-net radio user, featuring two buttons, up to two networks, and the ability to connect to an intercom system through the secondary headset port when required. 

The system is fully FalCom ADP compatible and can be expanded as operational needs evolve – see the Basic, Extended, and Advanced configurations for common deployment setups.

Basic kit

FalCom Pods Pro paired with a dedicated Boom Microphone Downlead connected to a FalCom Hub Mini and a single or dual net tactical radio. 

For the operator with a basic communication need

This system features two sets of buttons, up to two networks, and the ability to connect to an intercom system through the secondary headset port when required. The system is fully FalCom ADP compatible and can be expanded as operational needs develop (E.g. by adding a FalCom Wireless PTT).

Advanced kit

FalCom Pods Pro paired with a dedicated Boom Microphone Downlead connected to a FalCom Hub, two single or dual net tactical radio and an EUD.

For the operator with a dual-net and EUD communication need

For the operator who carries two dual-net radio and requires occasional use of aircraft or vehicle intercoms, this system allows data to be passed from data radios to the EUD without extra connectors or cables to additional radio ports, decreasing the likelihood of radio malfunctions and simplifying radio configuration.

The system is fully FalCom ADP compatible and can be expanded as operational needs develop (E.g. by adding a FalCom Dock).

Specialist kit

FalCom Pods Pro paired with a dedicated Boom Microphone Downlead connected to a FalCom Hub Max, two single or dual net tactical radio, an EUD and an USB device.

For the specialist with an advanced communication need

For the specialist who carries two dual‑net radios, an EUD, an external power source, and multiple USB devices (e.g. LRF or targeting accessory), this system routes data from USB devices and data radios to the EUD without extra connectors or additional radio ports – reducing the risk of radio malfunctions and simplifying radio configuration.

The system is fully FalCom ADP compatible and can be expanded as operational needs develop (E.g. switching Helmet Mounts).

40° tilt on headset cables reduces cable interference and prevents snag hazards.

90° tilt on all radio, data and intercom cables makes cable management effortless.

 The position of the voice tells the operator who is speaking and which net they are on; the button layout tells the operator how to respond.

Incoming voice is placed in virtual 3D space — front, back, left, right, near, far — matched to the source. 

FalCom Dock can be added to the kit when the mission requires additional USB devices. 

True left/right channel separation

Two ears, two channels, two independent audio streams — routed to match talkgroup, radio net, or command role. The operator’s native auditory system already separates sound spatially; our architecture honours that instead of collapsing incoming audio into mono. 

A platoon commander can hear command net in one ear and squad chatter in the other, with no mental parsing cost to separate them.

FalCom’s ADP architecture carries Audio, Data and Power across every ADP cable and connector. It is fully radio agnostic and compatible with major radio vendors such as L3Harris, Trellisware, Persistent Systems, Motorola, Thales.

Beyond the standard configuration.

Some operations demand more than off-the-shelf connectivity. FalCom’s advanced cable capabilities extend the system without replacing existing infrastructure — adding capacity, bridging incompatible systems, and connecting devices that weren’t designed to work together.

Example #1 Data Bridges
connects non-tactical EUDs directly to tactical radios including the AN/PRC-163. Full Ethernet protocol integrity. Robust encryption throughout. Your team uses the devices they have, on the radios they carry.

Example #2 Advanced splitter cables
doubles the radio capacity of a single ADP port. Run two radios where the architecture only has one. Expand a Hub Mini setup without upgrading your control unit.
